Each spring the Marin Arts Council sponsors the Artists Spring Open Studios, which will be held the first weekend of May. Over fifty talented ICB artists will be opening their doors for this festive event. For more information about this event click on this link Marin Arts Council.

The highlight event at the ICB every year is the Artists' Winter Open Studios, which will take place this year on the first weekend of December . A Sausalito tradition for 40+ years, this is a fascinating opportunity to wander in and out of the studios where eighty plus painters, sculptors, and craftspeople create their work.

There is no better place to find exceptional works of art, unique crafts and special gifts, while also enjoying the savings that are offered when you buy directly from the artists. Nestled close to the San Francisco Bay, toward the North end of Sausalito, is a landmark historic building steeped in the area's ship building roots, and rekindled by the creative juices of a vibrant community of artists.

The building is officially known as the industrial Center Building, but locals know it as "ICB Building" or they simply call it "the ICB" Because of its generous and flexible industrial style spaces, the ICB has become the creative and commercial home for artists of all kinds including painters, sculptors, fabric artists, photographers, multimedia producers, sound studios and much more.
